Orders ship from our location Monday-Friday within 2 days of receipt of the order unless indicated otherwise on the product page. Orders placed over the weekend will ship from our location the following business day. We are closed and orders will not ship on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, and from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: USPS does not provide guaranteed delivery dates, but they do deliver on Saturdays.
At this time we don't offer Express shipping. However, if you would like to request Express shipping please contact us and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Additional shipping charges will apply.
If you are placing an advance order (two weeks in advance or more) please make note of this in the message box by writing "HOLD for Future Delivery Date" during the checkout process and indicate the date you would like the package to arrive to the recipient.
Shipping to college students: Mail / Package Room:
Many colleges have a mail room which receives student packages. These mail rooms receive the package on the day you indicate you want the package to be delivered. Often the student is notified that they have a package waiting THE NEXT DAY. The student may not pick up the package until 2 DAYS AFTER it was delivered (or more). Schedule your package to arrive EARLY. Although it's not required, it's not a bad idea to notify the student that a package is coming their way so that they can look out for a slip or email from the mail room or inquire with the mail room if they have not received the package. This will not spoil their surprise, but rather help to build excitement and anticipation of something coming their way.
Check with Housing, Residence Life, or Student Affairs to make sure your shipping address is formatted correctly. Sometimes a dorm name and number is required (we cannot obtain this for you), other times a campus box number. In almost all cases, we must have a physical street address in order to ship via UPS. Campus Box Numbers do not always work in the same way regular PO Boxes work....in most cases packages may be delivered to a campus box number via UPS if a street address is included in the shipping address.
Military Shipping: APO & FPO Addresses
When placing your APO/FPO order, enter the recipient's full name and address in the relevant fields. Enter APO or FPO in the City field. Select Armed Forces Other Areas (AE) for the State field if the recipient is stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East. Select Armed Forces America (AA) if the recipient is stationed in the Americas. Select Armed Forces Pacific (AP) if the recipient is stationed in Asia or the Pacific. Regardless of where the recipient is stationed, select United States from the Country drop-down menu. Please enter your own telephone number in the shipping telephone number blank. All shipments to APO/FPO addresses are sent US Priority Mail. Please select USPS as your carrier, and Priority Mail as your shipping method. According to the Military Postal Service Agency, depending on where the service member is located, Priority Mail parcels can take up to 10 to 15 days. Transit times will vary depending on operational conditions and the unit of the recipient.
Tracking is not available for APO/FPO packages. If after two months you believe your package was not received, please notify us so that we may file a claim with USPS. USPS will research the package at that time and issue a refund if they cannot locate the package.
Canadian & International Shipping
Due to international tariffs and taxes often levied upon the gift recipient, Care Packages From Home does not ship to Canada or International locations. In certain circumstances we may make an exception. Please contact us if you would like to make special arrangements.
USPS Priority Mail: This service typically takes between 2-3 business days and delivers on Saturday for no extra charge. Example: if your order ships out on Thursday, your order will be received by Saturday or Monday. However, Priority Mail service is NOT GUARANTEED to arrive within 2-3 days. All orders with APO/FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
Returns & Un-deliverable Packages Policy
We guarantee all of our care packages. If you or the recipient are unsatisfied please contact us within 5 business days of delivery or expected delivery to discuss replacement or refund. All refunded or replaced packages must be returned to Care Packages From Home within 15 days of delivery. Please call us before you return your package.
Care packages are shipped via USPS. You will receive email notification by us with your package tracking information. In the unlikelihood that a package is lost, the customer is not available to receive the package, or the package is refused, USPS will send an email notification to you. In addition, Care Packages From Home makes every effort during the initial delivery process to notify the sender when a package is deemed un-deliverable. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Care Packages From Home within 5 days of expected delivery regarding the handling of the lost or returned package.
Returned packages will be held by Care Packages From Home for 5 business days. Upon notification from the customer within (or before) the 5 day period, we will reship the package at the expense of the customer or we will refund the cost of the package minus shipping. A 15% restocking may be assessed for packages containing food or items opened or damaged by recipient. In the case that the customer does not contact Care Packages From Home within the 5 day period, no refund will be issued.
